Computes free-space loss at one metre, applies a caller-supplied path-loss exponent over distance, then reports estimated receive power and margin against receiver sensitivity. This planning estimate does not model terrain, Fresnel obstruction, interference, antenna mismatch or regulatory duty cycle.
